Leah Huss Monroe, RN BSN, has been named Nursing Director at Saint John Hospital. Leah, who has worked at Saint John for the past 15 years, has had numerous roles with the hospital, including most recently serving as Emergency Services Manager for the past six years.
“We are pleased that Leah has accepted the role of Nursing Director where she will be responsible for ICU, 1 South, Skilled Nursing Facility, and House Supervisors. Outpatient Surgery Services will also report to Leah. Leah brings enthusiasm and a positive attitude to this role,” said Paula Ellis, DNP, CARN, NEA-BC, Chief Executive Officer.
Leah received her Nursing degree from the University of Saint Mary in 2008 and is currently enrolled in the University’s MSN program starting in January. She serves on the board of the Alliance Against Family Violence and has been a supporter of the American Heart Association and Snowflake Streak.
Leah and her husband, Ronnie, reside in Leavenworth. They enjoy spending time with family and friends.
