Happy Holiday Season. I hope all had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Still processing that it is almost Christmas…wow, the year flew by. We have so much to be thankful at Saint John Hospital…I am beyond thankful for our employees and the outstanding work and effort that each of them gives.
This is a special time of year…In a period of 40 days, We give Thanks, Celebrate a Season of Giving and Joy, and Ring in a New Year full of excitement and new goals. We have all of our interior decorations up at Saint John plus our beautiful Nativity set and some fantastic lighted trees outside…and they look great. We also have our “Star” lit up on top the hospital…it shines bright and lights the way. A big shout out to the KCHEART Volunteers (Amateur HAM Radio) for fixing the star and making it an annual tradition. This year our longest serving employee, Val Lamborn, had the honor of flipping the switch and starting our countdown to Christmas. It is magical and reminds us of the goodness we get to enjoy, and the importance of Family, Friends and Loved Ones. We are honored to take care of our community. Enjoy the season and be safe.
