Bret McClure, RN, BSN, MSN, has been named Manager of Emergency Services at Saint John Hospital. Bret comes to Saint John from Saint Luke’s Cushing Hospital, where he served as Director of Patient Care Services. He has held various roles, including Charge Nurse, House Supervisor and Registered Nurse at Kansas hospitals and previously was a paramedic and served as acting EMS Lieutenant with the Overland Park Fire Department. He also worked as a Paramedic for MAST ambulance service, covering Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri.

“We are very excited to have Bret join our team,” said Leah Huss Monroe, RN, BSN, Nursing Director. “Bret comes to us with a strong background and we are looking forward to his insights, knowledge and energy.”

Bret received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kan., and his MSN in Nursing Administration from the University of Saint Mary.

In his spare time, Brett enjoys all outdoor activities, traveling, home remodeling, sporting events and just relaxing with family and friends.
