Intensive Care Unit

When you’re critically ill and need a high level of care, the Saint John Intensive Care Unit can provide 24-hour attention.

Our ICU contains six beds with high-tech monitoring equipment linked to a new nursing station. Our nurses, who have special training in caring for critical patients, can monitor you closely for any changes in your condition. They work closely with physicians and ancillary staff to diagnose and treat many types of illness.

We strive to educate patients and their families during the hospital stay as well as upon discharge, on all new medications, signs & symptoms to look for at home and follow-up information. This initiative can help greatly in the prevention of illness.
