Mark Davis has been named Director of Physician Services – Prime Healthcare Kansas Market for Providence and Saint John. With more than 25 years of healthcare administrative management and operational experience, he now has Administrative oversight for 14 Primary and Specialty Clinics which are a part of Providence Medical Group and Saint John Medical Group.
Mark most recently served as Director, Surgery Clinic Services at Stormont Vail in Topeka, Kan., where he had served since 2008. Prior to Stormont Vail, he served as CEO of Select Specialty Hospital in Topeka from 2004 until 2008.
Mark is an Army Veteran and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology degree from Eastern Illinois University.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys playing golf, watching college sports, and traveling with his family throughout the Rocky Mountains and Grand Tetons.
Mark has been married to his wife Valerie for 25 years; she is a Neonatal ICU nurse. They have three children and a daughter-in law.
“My goals are to continue to grow clinic operations, and expand patient access for all patients in and around our community.” Mark said. “We have top-shelf providers and staff who are eager and ready to provide care to those who need our service.”
Fun Fact: Mark is surrounded by RN’s in his family. His mother, mother-in-law, wife, sister-in law and daughter-in law are all RN’s.
